I was recently diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, a form of skin cancer. Basal cell carcinoma is the most frequently occurring form of skin cancer. It is typically caused by long-term sun exposure. People with fair skin, blond or red hair, and blue or green eyes are at a higher risk. Basal cell carcinoma typically affects older people, but is becoming more common more common among people in their twenties and thirties.
