The pesterior surface of the pinna's skin is intact
Local anesthesia Blanching and
swelling of EAC introitus during local infiltratio
Auriculotemporal nerve block
When I check for analgesia I outline of excision
I also remove, a 1X1.5 cm piece of cartilage under the lesion
I undermine the conchal skin pre and post auricularly
I excise the cartilage in order to create an opening 2 cm wideand I pass the flap through the opening to reach the preauricular defect
To restore the post auricular defect I create this anteriorly based rhomboid flap
