Dr Hossein Taghizadeh speaks to ecancer at ESMO 21st World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer about applied precision cancer medicine in advanced therapy-refractory biliary tract cancers (BTC).
He explains that they used real-world data to detect possible targetable genomic mutations that may be used for tailored and targeted therapy.
Dr Taghizadeh concludes that the study showed that precision cancer medicine has the potential for being used to determine treatment options for patients with BTC.
