WBC less than 30 x 10 9 /L
T-cell phenotype
Absence of Philadelphia chromosome
Early attainment of complete remission
Bad prognosis:
Older kids
WBC greater than 30 x 10 9/L
B-cell phenotype
Presence of t 9:22 Philadelphia chromosome
Late attainment of complete remission
Differential Diagnosis:
AML= Acute Myeloid Leukemia
AUL= Acute Undifferentiated Leukemia
MPAL= Mixed Phenotype Acute Leukemia
CML= Chronic Myeloid Leukemia
Aplastic anemia
Burkitt lymphoma
