Pancreatic Cancer has killed almost 50 people on the Rock in the past six years.

This month, Gibraltar's Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Charity sent information pamphlets to all local GPs, reminding them of the symptoms.

A disease that is often diagnosed late, it is one of the most fatal cancers, with only a quarter of those diagnosed living to see another year.

However, it is now thought that around 30% of cases are preventable with a healthier lifestyle.

Earlier this week the Moorish Castle turned purple to honour those affected.

Katy Docker spoke to GHA Consultant Oncologist David Ballesteros and Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Gibraltar's Louis Baldachino.
