There is a hollow tube in our body to carry food from the mouth to the stomach, which is called the alimentary canal. When there is repeated infection in it, then the chances of cancer increase. When this tube becomes infected with cancer, it is called cancer of the esophagus or cancer of the esophagus.The esophagus is called esophagus in English. The food that we eat is passed through the esophagus to the stomach to digest it. When cancer occurs in the esophagus, it is called esophageal cancer or cancer of the esophagus. This cancer can occur anywhere in the esophagus. Due to cancer, the ducts get blocked and the patient starts having trouble in eating and drinking. During this, problems like vomiting and indigestion start happening.There is no exact cause of esophageal cancer. This usually happens when the DNA of the cells of the esophagus is damaged. Something goes wrong. This disturbance causes cells to grow uncontrollably and differentiate. After some time, when the cells start aggregating, they take the form of a tumor. Apart from this, drinking alcohol, smoking, drinking very hot liquids, lack of green vegetables in food are the reasons for this disease. This is also one of the reasons for the acid coming back into the alimentary canal. That's why weight loss and control of acid reflux along with a healthy lifestyle is very important.

हमारे शरीर में मुंह से पेट तक खाना पहुंचाने के लिए एक खोखली नली होती है, जिसे आहार नली कहते हैं। जब इसमें बार-बार इंफैक्शन होने लगता है तो कैंसर की संभावना बढ़ जाती है। जब यह नली कैंसर से ग्रसित हो जाती है, तो इसे आहार नली का कैंसर या इसोफैगस कैंसर कहते हैं। आहर नली को अंग्रेजी में एसोफैगस कहते हैं। हम जो खाना खाते हैं इसोफैगस यानी आहार नली उसे पचाने के लिए पेट में पहुंचाती है। जब इसोफैगस में कैंसर हो जाता है तो इसे इसोफैगस कैंसर या आहर नली का कैंसर कहते हैं। यह कैंसर आहार नली में कही भी हो सकता है। कैंसर होने पर नली के रास्ते बंद हो जाते हैं और मरीज को खाना खाने-पीने में परेशानी होने लगती हैं। इस दौरान उल्टी और अपचय जैसी समस्या होने लगती है। आहार नली के कैंसर का कोई सटीक कारण नहीं है। सामान्य तौर पर यह तब होता है जब एसोफैगस की कोशिकाओं के डी.एन.ए. में कुछ गड़बड़ी आ जाती है। इस गड़बड़ी की वजह से कोशिकाएं अनियंत्रित होकर बढ़ती जाती हैं और अलग-अलग हो जाती हैं। कुछ समय बाद जब कोशिकाएं एकत्र होकर जमने लगती हैं तो वह ट्यूमर का रूप ले लेती हैं। इसके अलावा शराब, ध्रूमपान, बहुत गर्म तरल पदार्थ पीना, खाने में हरी साग-सब्जी की कमी इस बीमारी के कारण हैं। एसिड का आहार नली में वापस आना भी इसका एक कारण है। इसलिए स्वस्थ जीवन शैली के साथ वजन घटाने और एसिड प्रतिवाह पर नियंत्रण बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।

This is me sorta just talking about the cancer and the treatments and the feeding tube that was just put in so I could eat. Of course all of this stuff is painful and I and decided about 15 minutes before filming this, i just decided to take a few fast acting pain killers. Gastroparesis is a gastrointestinal disorder, essentially “stomach paralysis” that is due to delayed emptying of stomach contents into the small intestine. This delayed emptying, or paralysis of the stomach, can have many different causes and risk factors (please check out my lesson on that particular topic). Due to food sitting in the stomach for extended periods of time (due to delayed gastric emptying), gastroparesis can have a variety of classic signs and symptoms, which we discuss in this lesson.
