Breast cancer is the most common cancer type in women. The good news is that there are so many breast cancer risk factors you can change and there are many ways to reduce your risk of breast cancer. One of these risk factors is your pregnancy history. The way you choose to grow your family can either lower your breast cancer risk or raise it. In this video, you will learn how your pregnancies, childbirth and breastfeeding duration can help reduce your risk for breast cancer.

In this video, I explain why breast cancer is so common and how pregnancy affect your breasts. You may wonder how childbirth and breast cancer risk are related. Womens’ exposure to hormones such as estrogen, chemicals that act like estrogen, and high radiation doses, before their first full-term pregnancy, can affect their breast tissue and cause breast cancer later in life.

Second, I share with you three strategies that lower your risk of breast cancer naturally. If you want to know if pregnancies can lower your cancer risk or just the opposite, if pregnancies can cause breast cancer, this video will make this clear. Targeting the best age to get pregnant is another way to lower your breast cancer risk. Late pregnancy and breast cancer risk are closely related. When it comes to your breast cancer risk, your 20s is the best age to have kids. Breastfeeding provides health benefits to both the baby and his mother. There is a strong link between the breastfeeding duration and breast cancer risk. Extending the breastfeeding duration lowers womens’ probability to develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
