Tobacco addiction is the most important cause of Head & Neck Cancer. Not everyone who consumes tobacco suffers from cancer but the probability of them having Head & Neck Cancer surely spurges.

No vídeo de hoje vocês vão acompanhar uma cirurgia de Biópsia Incisional de língua. Esse procedimento tem como objetivo, remover uma parte de tecido sadio e parte da lesão para mandar à análise para ser diagnosticada.

O paciente já apresentava a lesão a 3 meses, lesão essa de característica verrugosa que causava dor e incômodo. Após 21 dias o paciente teve retorno com diagnóstico de uma lesão maligna, um tumor espinocelular de língua.

O paciente foi encaminhado para o cirurgião de cabeça e pescoço para dar prosseguimento no tratamento.
