End of life Hospice Care for patients with Pancreatic Cancer also depends on where you are in your disease process. Ascites is a common symptom of Pancreatic Cancer that I've seen and Ascites is is the accumulation of fluid within the peritoneal cavity, which means that your belly becomes substantially bigger due to fluid buildup.
