This patient of Dr. Tanveer Janjua had a basal cell carcinoma removed from her upper nose. Dr. Janjua now must fix this defect and he discusses several way to do that. Then we see Dr. Janjua marking the patient followed by the results of the surgery where a local flap is used to close the upper nose area.

Mohs micrographic surgery has proven effective in getting to the roots of skin cancer by combining the surgical removal of cancer with the immediate microscopic examination of the tumor and underlying diseased tissue. The process allows Dr. Mejia to see beyond the visible disease and precisely identify and remove the entire tumor...and nothing but the tumor.

In this video, Dr. Mejia shows the process a patient goes through (usually in one visit/same location) for their Mohs surgery. The Mohs procedure starts with a skin cancer screening where Dr. Mejia will meet and consult with the patient.
