My first video revealing the horrible news I received on Oct 15, 2018 that I have endometrial cancer. My life has completely changed since that diagnosis. I had a full hysterectomy on Oct 29, 2018 where I was informed it is grade 3, stage 3. I am scheduled to start chemotherapy on Nov 27, 2018.

Note: you will see endometrial and uterine cancer used interchangeably.

My husband has been an amazing rock for me. He has come to every single appointment, spent the night at the hospital during my surgery and has shown his love for me so profoundly. Ladies, marry a guy like that!! And my family and close friends have been so supportive and helped me in so many ways. I am very lucky to have such a strong support system. I'm trying to be thankful that it wasn't worse as it could have been stage 4, but it's really hard to get a cancer diagnosis at only 47.

I hope my story has a happy ending.
