Learn More About Hodgkin Lymphoma:
Treatments Under Investigation
Although the cure rate in Hodgkin Lymphoma (HL) is already high, research continues to develop more effective therapies with fewer short- and long-term toxicities. Investigators are also looking for ways to treat the minority of patients who are refractory to treatment and those who relapse. Studies for relapsed/refractory HL are looking at new combinations of targeted therapies or immunotherapies including ibrutinib (Imbruvica), lenalidomide (Revlimid), and a different class of drugs called histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors. Clinical trials are also ongoing for the use of ADCT-301 (camidanlumab tesirine) and anti-CD30-CAR (chimeric antigen receptor) T-cell therapy in relapsed/refractory HL.

Hi guys, today the 4th of February is world Cancer day. This day should be used to raise awareness, attention and create action against cancer, a disease which affects 50% of us in our lifetimes! I battled Hodgkin Lymphoma during 2020, and reached remission in October after undergoing chemotherapy for 6 months. I hope this can resonate with someone out there, and raise just a little bit of awareness surrounding cancers which are so common in young adults. Prevention is key!! Hope you like it, B x

I know I usually try to stay upbeat and happy throughout all of my videos but lately, this has been chewing away at me. After learning about the lymphatic system, shadowing an oncologist, and September being Cancer awareness month for Leukemia and Lymphoma, I just needed to get this out of my chest.
Here is part 1 of my cancer story. This video is where I talk about my symptoms and how I was diagnosed with lymphoma. Make sure to watch the whole video to get all of the details and share this video to someone who might find it helpful! Peace!
