Raise your hand if you were shocked with how realistic wigs and toppers look today?!
🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️

When I first noticed my hair was thinning in my twenties I was so upset by it. I only knew wigs to be bulky, hot, itchy & unrealistic. If given the option between a bulky synthetic wig or my thinning/balding head… I would’ve chosen my balding head. The LAST thing I wanted to wear was a wig. I had no clue they looked THIS good.

One night I was scrolling IG & saw the queen @thedaniaustin rocking her new @DANIELALAIN wig. I RAN to find my husband and show him how amazing this wig looked. It was SO realistic and looked exactly how I’d always dreamed my hair could look. Dani was rocking her hair loss. I wanted that, I wanted to be confident in my biggest insecurity- my hair.

I sprung the idea of buying one of these @DANIELALAIN wigs on my husband that night. He was incredibly supportive and encouraging if that was what would help me feel confident and beautiful.

I was hesitant to order, having never tried on a human hair wig before but knew I could return it for free if it didn’t work out. So two weeks later I ordered my Follea wig online and cried the first time I tried it on. I had always dreamed of what I would look like with great hair. It was such an emotional moment for me. I finally had the hair I never knew existed and I loved it.

Slowly I gained the confidence in my new wig. It was instant love, but over the course of the next couple months my wig felt more & more part of ME.

So all this to say- if you have hair loss (regardless of the cause/type) know you have options. You have a huge support network of incredible women on social media all experiencing the same. It’s challenging to navigate hair loss alone, that’s one of the reasons I love this community. Each of you I would consider a friend. Navigating hair loss is all about discovering what will make YOU feel beautiful.

I’d love to hear your story to discovering what makes YOU feel beautiful! I know reading other women’s stories have helped me SO much.
