Watch Dr Karen Geboes describe where neuroendocrine tumours (NETS) develop in the body.

NETS can occur throughout the body – one site she mentions is within the lungs (lung NETs). Another place NETs can develop is within the bowel or stomach (gastrointestinal NETs) and also within the pancreas (pancreatic NETs).

Dr Geboes is a medical oncologist and consultant gastroenterologist who works at the University Hospital of Ghent in Belgium.
