There are several types of neuroendocrine tumours (NETs), Dr Mohid Kahn explains in this video. Gastrointestinal NETs are those that start in the gut or digestive system and can affect the stomach, small bowel, large bowel, and pancreas. When they occur in the pancreas they are called pancreatic NETs. NETs can also occur in the lungs.
