Once a person is diagnosed with a primary liver cancer their life is changed forever. Making treatment decisions is dependent upon the health of the liver and the location of the tumor(s) in the liver. As with all cancer diagnoses, there are a variety of treatment options available from different medical specialties. GLI’s Virtual Liver Cancer Tumor Board will give the audience an insight into the complex discussions that take place with different medical professionals as doctors and patients work together to create a personalized treatment plan. GLI hopes that this demonstration will empower patients to seek a multi-disciplinary approach to tackling their liver cancer diagnosis. #OctoberIs4Livers
