Examples of transillumination usage with an infrared pupilometer. First example shows an in vitro globe specimen with melanoma, in which the demarcation of the tumor tissue is shown via transillumination of the globe. Second example shows an in vivo example of a tumor (iris melanoma) where the full extent of the mass is identified via transillumination.
