I was diagnosed with a desmoid tumor in 2016. I found out that it was encasing my artery. This challenged my faith and pushed me to places I never thought I would go. Chemo pills had me researching self-deletion daily.

I met a man at a conference in 2017 that had desmoid tumors spread throughout his body. He told me that tattoos were a form of pain management for him.

My smiley face tattoo is one of 2 that I got during this dark time that helped me remember to keep moving forward. It reminded me of my passion for life.
