Why has pancreatic cancer been so hard to cure? In pursuit of better treatments and a cure, researchers have come together in collaboration through the Rogel Cancer Center at Michigan Medicine to form the Pancreatic Cancer Research Initiative, where new approaches, including investigating the function and potential application of immune-based therapies, are being researched.
