Testicular Cancer Survivor Saw Light at End of the Tunnel
When Adolphe Khouri started experiencing persistent lower abdominal and lower back pain, he initially wrote it off as a fitness-related injury.
Healthy and fit, the 32-year-old was shocked when he found out the pain he had been experiencing for the past two years was Stage 3 testicular cancer.
He received surgery within 24 hours and was referred to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre for chemotherapy.
Now feeling great and back to his pre-cancer fitness levels, Adolphe is grateful for the care he received at The Princess Margaret.
“The Princess Margaret allowed me to see that light at the end of the tunnel. If it wasn’t for that feeling, I never would’ve thought I would’ve made it to the end and I did,” Adolphe says.
