CNIO researcher Oscar Fernández-Capetillo, head of the Genomic Instability Group, together with the platform of scientific and technical communications SciDrops, explains his ideas on targeting ATR for cancer treatment.

The video highlights the logic behind targeting ATR for tumor chemotherapy, an idea that has been going on in Fernández-Capetillo's lab for the last years.

In collaboration with the Experimental Therapeutics Programme, CNIO researchers have developed ATR inhibitors, which are currently being developed for their potential use in chemotherapy.
