First discovered just a decade ago in a tribe native to New Zealand, this rare form of cancer has the potential to wipe out an entire family if caught too late. Now, cases of Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer Syndrome (HDGC) are being discovered all over the world including here in the United States.
