WALNUT HILLS, Ohio (WKRC) - Dozens of students at St. Ursula Academy cut their hair for charity hair donations Wednesday to help make wigs for cancer patients.

The effort is part of the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program, which provides free wigs to women battling cancer. Each student agreed to cut at least eight inches of her hair to donate.

Students also heard from a survivor.

St. Ursula's Student Wellness Committee coordinated the event to increase awareness about the need for wigs for cancer patients and to create a personal way for students to help those who are battling cancer.
