Identify and describe common patterns of small bowel neoplasia
Differentiate small bowel neoplasia from patterns of small inflammation or ischemia
Summary:
Adenocarcinoma โ Irregular, solid circumferential enhancement, luminal narrowing. Most common in the duodenum - jejunum
Submusocal masses- Endophytic or exophytic round enhancing masses most commonly carcinoid or GIST
Serosal metastases - multifocal masses associated with ascites, which can advance to obstruction
Lymphoma โ Primary is associated with HIV, Celiac, and solid organ transplants, segmental enhancing mass with pseudoanuerysmal dilation
