Salivary Tumors :Pleomorphic Adenoma, Warthin Tumor and Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma
Majority arise in parotid, then in the submandibular gland, and rest in the minor salivary glands. Salivary gland tumor being malignant is inversely proportional to the size of the gland. 15% to 30% of tumors in the parotid glands are malignant.
40% of submandibular, 50% of minor salivary gland are cancerous.
