Safety of cold snare polypectomy for duodenal adenomas in familial adenomatous polyposis: a prospective exploratory study

Kenta Hamada, Yoji Takeuchi, Hideki Ishikawa et al.

Cold snare polypectomy (CSP) has become the standard of
care for small colorectal polyps. In this preliminary safety
evaluation in 10 patients with familial adenomatous polyposis,
the Japanese authors found that CSP of duodenal
polyps was safe, with a median of 35 polyps resected in a
single session.
