Dr Jad Chahoud speaks to ecancer at the 2019 ASCO Genitourinary Cancers Symposium about a study looking to identify targetable mutations in penile cancer that could lead to improved clinical outcomes.
He explains that whole exome sequencing and HPC PCR testing was performed on 34 cases of prostate cancer.
Dr Chahoud reports that the tumour mutation burden in penile cancer appear to be similar to that of other cancers including lung and head and neck.
