Dr Jay Mehta has pioneered the technique of Office Hysteroscopy for Infertility and Gynecology which allows extremely accurate diagnosis for the patient.
Office Hysteroscopy is an OPD based procedure which is performed without any Anesthesia, takes about 5 mins to perform, and needs no post operative medications.
Office Hysteroscopy is done for patients predominantly with the following complains:
1. PostMenopausal Bleeding
2. Abnormal Uterine Bleeding
3. Thickened Endometrium
4. Uterine Polyp
5. Patients with Infertility
Dr Jay Mehta does the Office Hysteroscopy using the 2.9mm diagnostic Hysteroscopy sheath. This procedure involves giving patient position and cleaning the external genitalia.
One of the best things about this procedure is that the patient also sees the entire procedure on a screen. This instils a tremendous confidence in the minds of the patients as they have a visual impression of the entire surgery. The biopsy samples are send for HistoPathological evaluation and once the final diagnosis is made, then the final procedure is performed. This Office Hysteroscopy enables an OPD based diagnosis for the surgeon in a rapid manner with complete clarity.
