Zuzana Střížová, MD, PhD, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic, comments on enhancing the efficacy of immunotherapies in treating soft tissue sarcoma. Many immune checkpoint inhibitors are ineffective due to low expression of PD-(L)1. However, the presence of LAG-3 and TIM3 may provide novel strategies to target soft tissue sarcomas. This interview took place at the ESMO Sarcoma and Rare Cancers Congress 2023 in Lugano, Switzerland.
