For Nigel Deekes, his symptoms began with night sweats. Then came the weight loss, followed by a reoccurrence of an old eye injury. It was this that prompted Nigel to seek medical help, but he never expected that his symptoms were a sign of chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML).
