NY1 News recognizes 2 New Yorker's for efforts to help cancer patients look and feel better.

Andrew DiSimone (owner of HairPlaceNYC) and M.E. Morganteen (Songwriter) created DonateYourPonytail and a song inspired by a beautiful girl who lost her hair to cancer. People can come into the salon for a free haircut, and we use their hair to make free wigs for children with cancer. Andrew DiSimone also volunteers cutting and styling wigs at the American Cancer Society’s Look Good Feel Better Program, and sponsors FreeWigsforKids.org.
