NETWise Small Bowel UPDATED 4/2023
NETRF is committed to presenting the most current, timely, and credible information about NETs and NET care, so we’ve begun to refresh older episodes to bring them up-to-date. This is a revised version of an episode that originally aired in December of 2020, where we focused on diagnosis and treatment of NETs that start in the most common primary site for neuroendocrine tumors, the small intestine.
Did you know that 12% of gastrointestinal (GI) NETs are found in the small bowel? The small bowel, or the small intestine, is one of the most common places NETs form.
