My biggest issue while battling appendix cancer, recovering from CRS and HIPEC, and going through chemo, was that other people felt like their problems are more important than our own lives.
Toxicity has had to be pushed out so we can focus on our own lives.
Cancer/illness is NOT easy. I made the mistake of trying to make it seem like it, but that's not real and it's not the truth.
If you know someone going through illness or cancer, be considerate and helpful and the ABSOLUTE least you can do is check on them and ask them how they are doing.
