In this lecture Dr. Dorbala highlights the historical perspectives and the latest developments in molecular imaging of cardiac amyloidosis. She discusses the current diagnostic criteria to make a noninvasive diagnosis of transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis. Also discussed is the potential role of imaging to identify changes in cardiac amyloidosis after therapy.
