Mogamulizumab for patients with CTCL
Mogamulizumab is a monoclonal antibody that induces antibody-dependent cell-mediated toxicity (ADCC) upon binding to both the transmembrane chemokine receptor CCR4, which is upregulated on malignant CTCL cells, and natural killer (NK) cells. Samuel Wilding, University of Manchester, Manchester, UK, presents data from a Phase II study (NCT04745234) evaluating the efficacy and the safety of mogamulizumab in patients with relapsed/refractory cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) including Sรฉzary syndrome (SS) and mycosis fungoides (MF). This study reported improvements in skin and hematological response, with low rates of adverse events, resulting in an overall improvement of these patientsโ quality of life (QoL). This interview took place at the EORTC Cutaneous Lymphoma Group 20-21 meeting in Marseille.
