Xeroderma Pigmentosum is a generic disorder in which there is a decreased ability to repair DNA damage such as that caused by ultraviolet light.

Some of the symptoms may include severe sunburn after only few minutes in the sun, dry skin and changes in skin pigmentation and complication include high risk of skin cancer.
