Let's make low cost Breast Prostheses available to women in Uganda - Fundraiser
When I was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer, the prognosis changed my life for it exposed me to the privilege of ignorance. Ignorance about what women in my country go through post treatment for this illness.
Through my foundation, the Lumps Away Foundation (in partnership with Maisha Ni Upendo, Gala Image Consulting & Switch Media) a fundraiser is being organized to support a project being run by the Cancer Aid Organization under the Uganda Cancer Institute. The intention is to support the local production of artificial breasts for women that have undergone mastectomy.
