Ellen welcomed to the show Trish and her daughter Lilly, a 9-year-old childhood cancer survivor. Lilly shared the good news that she is now cancer-free, but she has made it her mission to give back to others, including kids who are going through a similar situation. They talked about the need for funding for childhood cancer research since it is currently the lowest in federal funding among all cancer research. Lilly also chatted about her new hobby of soapbox derby racing, and Ellen had a special surprise for them both!
