June 2022: Latest Update On My Bile Duct Cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma) Journey
Hi folks! Welcome back to TYP. About every three months, I attend a "re-staging" appointment with my oncologist to review my progress and treatment regimen. Today's appointment was a tough one, with the not-entirely-expected news that I'll need to change treatment regimens in order to better fight my bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma) in the months ahead. It's not all bad news, though, as I'll have a short "chemo holiday" (my first break in nearly two years!) as we explore potential avenues to the PARP inhibitor treatments I discussed in my previous post-re-staging update. Thank you, as always, for your amazing support.
