Eye cancer is mainly of two types. One it comes in children and the other in elderly person. In children the main one is called as retinoblastoma and in adults it is called as melanoma. One of the most important symptom the patient can have is there is some kind of a haze or the lines that are looking straight will become curved and there will be flashes of light. There will be floaters in your vision. Slowly one part of the vision will be obscured as the cancer keeps growing. Pain of cancer will come at a much much later stage when this cancer has progressed to other parts of the eye. In children we se cancer it is very difficult because a child is not going to come and tell any symptom but what a parents notices is inside the pupil of the eye you are seeing a white reflex. There are two or three conditions where there is a white reflex. One condition is a retinoblastoma. Second and third will be cataract and retina detachment, this can also be seen in premature babies but in cancer usually we will se about the age of 1 or years of age. Cancer of the eye and two conditions, this is how we can identify them.
