This video covers how a Heart & Cancer Protect insurance plan works. ICICI Pru Heart and Cancer Protect plan is a plan that pays you an upfront amount* on the diagnosis any of the critical illnesses covered by the plan.
If the critical illness is in its minor stage, a part of the total cover amount is paid to you. You can use this amount for your treatment-related costs, non-medical expenses or any other expenses. You do not have to submit any bills to claim this amount. In addition, all future premiums towards your plan are waived off^.
If the critical illness reaches its major stage, the remaining cover amount is paid to you.
At the time of the first diagnosis, if the critical illness is already in its major stage, the entire cover amount is paid to you without the need to submit any bills.
