Guidelines and Case 01: Identifying Severe Eosinophilic Asthma (SEA)

OBJECTIVES:
- Recognize the signs, symptoms and presentations of SEA in a patient and understand the burden associated with it
- Utilize the Eosinophil as a biomarker in phenotyping and endotyping Severe Asthma (SA) patients
Identify the SEA patient with common comorbidities
- Understand the risks associated with both short and long-term use of oral corticosteroids (OCS) in patients with SEAUnderstand guideline recommendations on when to consider biologic therapies to manage SEA
