Fort McClellan, commonly known as “Fort Mac,” was home to the U.S. Army Chemical Center and School. For decades mustard gas, VX nerve gas, Agent Orange, Agent Blue, and depleted uranium leaked into the groundwater which was used on base.

During this time, tens of thousands of veterans and their families drank, bathed, and cooked with this groundwater. What these veterans and their families did not know is that the groundwater was poisoned. Today many veterans suffer from cancer and other ailments due to toxic exposure from contaminated groundwater at Ft. McClellan.
