After her mastectomy, being given a free knit breast prosthetic didn’t just rekindle her hope for the future. As the founder of KnittedKnockers.org, a huge network of volunteers dedicated to knitting free prostheses for breast cancer survivors, she believes that cancer doesn’t have to rob women of their femininity.
