Donate A Wig is an international registered charity helping cancer patients cope with the appearance related side effects of their treatment. there was a gap in the care of cancer patients and survivors in Africa. Although the loss of hair may seem pale in comparison to life-saving treatment, it can still have a great impact on oneโ€™s quality of life. Our mission is to make free wigs accessible to every woman who needs it to help boost their emotional and physical well-being.

We provide free wigs, makeovers, confidence boosting workshops and practical advice for women in the underprivileged communities in Africa. Since 2018 weโ€™ve been able to give around 160 wigs to women who would otherwise not be able to have one.

When a cancer patient loses their hair, it can often be a terrifying and difficult experience that adds additional pressure to an already stressful situation. Wearing a wig is a way to cope with hair loss and help make cancer patients look and feel more confident while undergoing treatment. Our Feel Good workshops are held in various locations in Kenya for women who have lost their hair from Cancer treatment.

We are able to partner with local trained make-up artists, beauticians and hairdressers to help us deliver. When a woman loses her hair, we are there to offer a free wig to help restore her identity and confidence.

Thank you for all the support we have received over the years in bringing us closer to our goal. Next year we have a target of providing 260 wigs for our ladies. We still have a long way and need your support to get there.

Join us online for an evening of music with DJ Dan as we work towards raising the funds we need to run our 2021 projects.

We hope to see you there!
