Small cell and non-small cell are the two main types of lung cancer

In case of SCLC, the cancerous cells appear small and round under a microscope.

The cells of NSCLC are larger.

But the big difference is how aggressive they are.

SCLC is more aggressive than NSCLC and often spreads to other parts of your body

Smoking is a major risk factor for both types.

Another difference is how common they are.
