I use a lab test called “DCISionRT” for patients with low-risk DCIS breast cancer, after lumpectomy, who are not sure they want to have breast radiation therapy. It gives them more prognostic information on their risk of breast cancer recurrence (with or without radiation treatment) that often helps them make a more informed decision.
