The following is a song written by Mike Furches for his wife Mary Jane Furches who fought Pancreatic Cancer. The commentary at the start of the video is correct except the reality is that with the Whipple Surgery, 1 in 20 people die during surgery, 2 out of 20 live 5 years or longer and the remainder live on average 2 years. While the numbers are getting better for this surgery, these were numbers that came from John Hopkins and MD Anderson research. Mike and Mary Jane were together for over 40 years and their love story is outlined in the book, The Keystone Kid. The two also coauthored a children's book titled Herald The Angel, a Christmas Story. The song was recorded in Tulsa Oklahoma at Drapp Studios the studio where Hanson recorded their first platinum album. On this song Mike plays the Merlin or Dulcimer Guitar and Louis Drapp plays the guitar and cajon. The songs recorded in Tulsa, 4 in total with commentary was provided for by James "Jim" Stump.

Mary Jane lost her battle with Pancreatic Cancer on December 22 2019. Victory in the Valley was an organization based in Wichita Kansas that provided a great deal of help and 1/2 of all proceeds that come forth from this projected to Victory in the Valley. 2020 will be donated to Victory in the Valley.
