In the wake of the death of Chadwick Boseman, Dr. Kimmie Ng, director of the Young-Onset Colorectal Cancer Center at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, tells TODAY: “Since the 1990s, we have been noticing a steady rise in the rate among people under the age of 50,” adding, “we highly suspect that environmental factors may be at play.”
