Does sex protect men against prostate cancer?

Evidence suggests that ejaculation frequency may be inversely related to the risk of prostate cancer

Men who ejaculate often may have a lower risk of prostate cancer than their peers who don’t do it as frequently

However, it is advisable to stay sexually active especially over the age of 40. Some experts believe that ejaculation clears the body of toxins and other substances that could cause inflammation and increase the chances of having prostate cancer.

Other important measures you can take to reduce the chances of prostate cancer are:

Eating more fruits and vegetables
Limiting the intake of trans and saturated fat
Drinking green tea to reduce prostate specific antigen level
Taking sufficient amount of vitamin D
Maintaining a healthy weight
Regular exercising
Smoking abstinence
